NYU Green Zone:
The NYU Office of Sustainability's approach to environmental justice overlaps with D&T because they both state that the environment greatly affects minorities in society. This is evident in the way a city might be laid out in the sense that most communities with a lot of minorities may be located in areas that are not conducive for good living. While generally "white" areas can be found in cleaner and more conducive environments.
NYU TLT Learning Experience Design:
The VEU for social work program allows students to practice interactions with clients. I think it is a good way of simulating the work environment as it is important to react appropriately and know what to say and do in certain circumstances. I think the best way that this group discusses diversity in their projects is by meeting with people from different backgrounds.
